Rick Lazio – Rebecca Costa

Enrico Anthony “Rick” Lazio is a former U.S. Representative for the
state of New York. He was first elected in 1992 and served four terms
from 1993 to 2001, winning re-election by the largest margin in that
district’s history. In Congress, Lazio served as Deputy Majority Whip,
Assistant Majority Leader, and Chairman of the House Banking
Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity. Lazio stepped down
from his position in Congress to run for Senate in 2000 but lost to
Hilary Clinton. In 2012 he became a partner at the Jones Walker Law Firm
as head of the firm’s first New York office.
